Acupuncture
Definition
Acupuncture is one of the external methods of treatment diseases through the placing and manipulation of needles inspecifiedpoints.
History of method
The history of acupuncture lasts thousands of years and has its roots in ancient times (4 to 8 thousand years ago). In some ancient treatises, written over two thousand years ago, there are many references to the primitive stone tools, needles. During the development of acupuncture, bamboo and bone needles were replaced with metal ones. It is known a case where a student of ancient skillful physician Bien Chue - Zi Yang with acupuncture brought out of the coma Prince Guo.
Acupuncture began to spread to other countries in the 6th century BC. Currently, acupuncture is widely used in more than 140 countries and regions, and has been used successfully to treat a variety of diseases.
November 16, 2010 acupuncture was included in the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Medicinal properties

4. Tissue regeneration. The effectiveness of acupuncture in tissue repair has been proved by numerous clinical practice. For example, byputting needle into the points in the face can be cured paralysis of facial nerve.
