Massotherapy

Definition
Massotherapy (Massage Therapy) is part of Traditional Chinese medicine, as well as one of its most effective methods of treatment. It originated about 2 million years ago. It uses the theory of the passage of qi through the meridians of the body. It is believed that after massage the flow of qi in the body is more correct. In Traditional Chinese medicine, massage is used as a medical tool, which helps to eliminate the disease from all the body, including internal organs, bring people recoverythrough effects on certain points and areas of the body. Chinese doctors recommend massage in various diseases, as well as a method of rehabilitation in everyday life.

History
Massage originated in the early stages of the development of traditional medicine. In ancient times, people used rubbing, kneading, patting body in case of various ailments and pains. In ancient Chinese books, in addition to gymnastics and physical exercise are the various massage techniques for the treatment of rheumatic pains, sprains, relieve fatigue, muscle spasms and other diseases.

Features
Chinese massage - is one of the natural methods of treatment using a various and rather complex massage techniques. It consists of methods stroking, rubbing, and clicking, squeezing, petrissageand pressure, and other manipulations.

Massage is widely used in the treatment of diseases of the nervous, digestive and urinary systems, respiratory, circulatory systems, etc. In such diseases as dizziness, flu, headache, insomnia, epigastric pain, chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, nervous vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea, constipation, stiff neck, cervical spondylosis, periarthritis of shoulder, lumbar disc disease, tension and stress lumbar muscles, muscle atrophy of limbs, pain in joints and muscles, the effects of a stroke, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, children's diarrhea, cough, asthma, short-sightedness.
