Born in the city of Baoding, Hebei Province – on the native land of Chinese martial arts, from childhood has learned martial arts from his grandfather, learned Chinese medicine, acupuncture. He is the 11th successor of Chinese medicine in their genealogy. In 1959, after graduating from the Faculty of Physics, Beijing Pedagogic University, was engaged in teaching and research in the field of physics. At the same time deeply studied and researched Chinese medicine, studied by the famous acupuncturist of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine - teacher Zheng Kuyshan, studied by Director of TCM Department , the famous doctor-teacher Liu Binkui. In 2001, qualified as a teacher of acupuncture, massage, as psychologist of the higher level.
For a long time he researched the methods for development of intellect, for achievement longevity and good health, for prophylaxis and treatment of cardiovascular and cranial vascular disease with help of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other scientific methods.
After joint work together with 108 experts in the field of histology, psychology, brain science, immunology for 16 years, he founded China's first specialized center for the study of intellect - "Beijing Research Center of Intellect". He wrote the first book on the intellectual development - "Gymnastics for the development of visual acuity and intellect in children", and made it available in 26 provinces and cities in China.
For the last ten years he gave lectures in 32 countries and regions - the U.S., Canada, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore. He was included in the "List of famous Chinese doctors of our time", "Encyclopedia of the world's outstanding medical specialists", "List of famous doctors of China", "The list of outstanding Chinese doctors of the world (2003 Edition)". In 2001, in San Francisco, at the annual meeting of the General Assembly of the Fourth World Conference of Qigong has been awarded annual prize "The best qigong master", and in 2002 he was invited as a consultant to the Society of Qigong and Health care in U.S.
In September 2004, on the second session of the annual conference of health, organized by "The American Center for Health Statistics" and "The American Centers for Control and Prevention of Diseases " (ACCPD), Professor Gao in the presence of participants cured ACCPD’s employee, who suffered paralysis.
