A beautiful life
In Kundawell’s naming philosophy, Sanskrit and English meet: life, vitality and well-being express an aspiration for a full and beautiful life.
The legacy of Bian Que
Bian Que is an important figure in the history of Chinese medicine. Kundawell looks beyond a historical name to the observation of life through images. The institute understands seeing, recognising and transforming the image as a path connecting the thought of the Bian Que school with contemporary Image Medicine.
Explore Image MedicineDeveloped by Mingtang Xu through years of study, practice and international exchange, Image Medicine draws on the Bian Que school and traditional image-based thinking. Its framework describes life through Jing, Qi and Shen, with seeing the image as a way of understanding and changing the image as a guiding principle of practice.
